LET IT BE is a work of creation started in the midst of an almost global Lockdown period, where time, as if suspended, has redefined, in slow motion, our paths of life. LET IT BE, as a kind of letting go in the face of those moments of uncertainty, when time and space have closed in on themselves, suddenly becoming indefinite and carrying limits.
LET IT BE, as a form of resilience, where creativity gives us strength to act, explore and experience.
But LET IT BE is also a play on words, or more precisely a phonetic translation, of LES PETITES BILLES in French, which is the basis of this meditative work of confinement. OOOooOo
So above all, let’s stay humble and be ambitiously creative at the same time facing these new life paths that are emerging.
Faithful to the know-how of MAISON JONCKERS, LET IT BE is a unique creation made of white bronze cast with feet made in recycled clay fired by GROND STUDIO according to the ancestral Japanese techniques of Raku Yaki.
