COFFEE TABLE - 2016 ENGRAVED BRASS AND AMBER COLORED RESIN H 31 x Ø 155 CM / H12,2 x Ø61 IN UNIQUE

Inspired by the Labyrinth of Chartres, this table is composed of concentric circles based on the very specific geometry of the circle, symbol of eternity and infinity. Unlike many others, the labyrinth of Chartres is covered with a single path, so it is not a figure made to get lost. The way of this path could be considered as a metaphor of a spiritual journey, a symbolic, meditative or initiatory way to find oneself, to go to the center of oneself.

By simulating an implosion of the center of this labyrinth and creating a multitude of paths, Alexandra, Grégoire and Armand, wanted here to symbolize the importance of being lost to better find oneself.
