DYADE is an exclusive Credenza designed to be seen from all sides and composed of two elements which overlap to become one.
A dyad (from ancient Greek: δυάς, duás, "pair") is, in philosophy, an entity made up of two elements.
The dyad is the archetype of all the symbolic, conceptual and logical aspects of the number two: duality, duplicity, symmetry, twinning, complementarity, antagonism, ambivalence, etc.
On the level of symbolic thought, the dyad allows us to ask the question of creation, of genesis, of the origin of what is not the One.
This unique sideboard creation made in engraved brass is a bespoke project for RH - NEW YORK Gallery in the Meatpacking District. This piece was designed to be placed in the back of a vintage table desk of 1979, emblem of our work and that of our father, at the reception of the RH gallery as the concierge desk.
