COFFEE TABLE - 2019 BRONZE CAST AND RESIN H32,5 x L87 x W70 CM / H12.8 x L34.3 x W27.6 IN UNIQUE

The Orichalcum or literally mountain copper is described by Plato as the metal commonly used by the Atlanteans, inhabitants of the legendary Atlantis: « The island provided most of the things necessary for life. First, all metals, hard or malleable, extracted from the soil by mine work, without mentioning the one whose only name remains today, Orichalcum. It was then the most precious metal after gold. »

Alexandra and Grégoire play here with the colors of bronze with its different natural oxidations and the transparency of the resin with water green colors.
