ZAVENTEM ATELIERS EXPANDS IN PARIS - PDW 2022

Encouraged by their success at the Milan Design Week last June, the designers of Zaventem Ateliers, located a stone's throw from Brussels, have recreated the experience during the Paris Design Week in September. They occupied the site of "Les Grandes Serres de Pantin", formerly known as the Pouchard factory. In this industrial wasteland, destined to be rehabilitated a few months later, 12 designers had the pleasure to invite the guests to share their energy and discover their creations. For three days, the former steel tube factory became a reflection of Zaventem Ateliers, a crossroad for exchange and sharing between designers, artists, collectors, architects and aficionados dedicated to Collectible Design.

This project, completed in just 3 weeks, was first and foremost a place that shows the vision of a creative renaissance in a post-apocalyptic environment, a message of hope in these troubled times, a marker, a landmark towards our humanity. It was also an opportunity to discover Les Grandes-Serres de Pantin, a place dedicated to culture and exchange.
